An important and exciting new landmark Memorial is coming to Navy Pier.

The Chicago Navy Memorial at Navy Pier will celebrate the service and sacrifice of Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine veterans.

Visitors will learn the amazing stories about the men and women who served on Navy Pier and around Chicagoland and made vitally important contributions to America's World War II victory.

MAY 24 AT NAVY PIER: Special Chicagoland Premiere of the new documentary film, "Heroes on Deck: World War II on Lake Michigan", featuring Chicago's own Bill Kurtis, the film Narrator. The film tells the incredible story of how 15,000 WWII Navy and Marine Corps aircraft carrier pilots trained on two specially-built carriers operating from Navy Pier in Lake Michigan (pictured above).
